What is General & Vascular Surgery?

A General Surgeon will see a patient who may require a minor surgical procedure, including gallbladder or appendix removal, or hernia repair. A Vascular Surgeon is a medical physician who specializes in the evaluation and possible surgical treatment of diseases or conditions of the blood vessels.
