Press Ganey is a national data collection agency for patient satisfaction. In their newly released survey, physical and occupational therapy at Aurora Advanced Healthcare has received an exceptional patient satisfaction ranking of 95. The Press Ganey ranking of 95 reflects patients’ “likelihood of recommending” the Aurora Advanced Healthcare facility to others.

A percentile score of 95 means that Aurora Advanced Healthcare physical and occupational therapy services are performing at a higher level than 95 percent of the benchmark group nationwide. The patient surveys were compiled from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011.

As Aurora Advanced Healthcare’s survey partner, Press Ganey works with healthcare organizations to measure and improve their quality of care. Using a rating scale of Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor and Very Poor, various aspects of a patient’s experiences are measured.

Press Ganey survey results can help reveal what an organization is doing well and how it can improve. Measuring patient satisfaction will continue to play an important role in the trend toward accountability among the nation’s health care providers.
