Face lifts contour the neck by liposuctioning excess fat, if present, as well as lift the jowl and elevate the cheek.  Face lifting can require extensive incisions due to a patients age or increased sagging of the tissues or can require very minimal incisions if subtle changes are required.  Despite the various trendy names that are placed upon some face lifts, the overall procedure that is performed is essentially the same with the extent of the procedure tailored to meet an individual’s goals.  Typically, trendy names labeled to a face lift are pure marketing terms.
