Hospitalist

What is a Hospitalist?

A Hospitalist specializes in inpatient medicine and is responsible for managing the care of hospitalized patients. The hospitalist will participate in your care at the request of your doctor. When you are admitted to the hospital, the Hospitalist is on-site to work closely with your primary care physician to care for you.
