"As a specialist in orthopaedic oncology, I work as part of a multidisciplinary team to formulate the ideal treatment plan for each patient. Our team uses the most effective and modern combinations of surgical, medical and radiation therapy."
I earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. My orthopaedic surgery residency was completed at the University of Arizona in Tucson. At the University of Utah and the Huntsman Cancer Hospital, I completed my fellowship training in sarcoma and orthopaedic oncology.
I specialize in orthopedic oncology, including the diagnosis and treatment of primary benign (non-cancerous) and malignant tumors of bone and soft tissue. Some of my special procedures include limb salvage surgery, sarcoma surgery, minimally invasive treatment of benign bone tumors, radiofrequency ablation and joint reconstruction. My areas of focus are adult and pediatric bone and soft tissue tumors, musculoskeletal oncology and metastatic bone disease.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as outdoor sporting activities in each of the Wisconsin seasons.
