“Fundamentally, I think a physician is a teacher and advisor. Therefore, I try to listen, answer questions and explain the illness and its treatment options. My goal is to help the patient be a self advocate and active participant in their care.”
In 1976, I earned my medical degree from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. My internship and residency in internal medicine were completed through Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. I also completed a medical oncology fellowship and a hematology fellowship through Mt. Sinai.
I am board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.
I take special interest in the treatment of illnesses that unfortunately are most common — breast cancer, colon cancer and lung cancer.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy cooking, eating, reading, walking and spending time with my wife, two children and dog.
