After earning a double major in biology and Spanish while pursuing my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota in Duluth, I spent a year providing care for mentally and physically challenged adults in a home setting. Drawn to the concept to providing care for others, I then went on to receive my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I completed my residency through the Waukesha Family Medicine Residency Program in Waukesha. I am board certified in family medicine.
I pursued a career in family medicine because I was drawn to the comprehensive scope of the field. I enjoy working with patients of all ages and helping them be proactive in their health care decisions. I provide general medical care, preventive health as well as obstetrics. I also have experience working in urgent care addressing patient’s unanticipated illnesses and injuries.
I am an avid sports fan. In my free time I enjoy attending Badger football and Brewers games with my husband. I also enjoy reading, international travel and spending time with family and friends.
