
Born and raised in Northwestern Wisconsin, I earned my medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. My otolaryngology residency training was completed at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. I have been an active participant in a variety of research studies involving head and neck diseases and conditions. I am also a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society, the Wisconsin Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Board certified in otolaryngology, I treat adults and childeren for all conditions of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. I have special interest in diseases of the ear and hearing loss and providing treatment and reconstructive surgery for skin cancer defects, obstructive sleep apnea, sinus disease, as well as thyroid and parathyroid disease.
Also, I have special expertise in sialendoscopy, a minimally invasive endoscopic technique for the diagnosis and treatment of salivary gland disorders, such as sialolithisis and chronic sialenditis. I am also experienced in transoral laser microsurgery, a new tissue-sparing approach for the treatment of cancers of the head and neck.
