I believe in mutual respect and bilateral decision making, wherein the physician provides informed diagnosis, treatment recommendations and guidance for patients (and families when appropriate). I involve the patient in all aspects of their care and treatment, allowing them to make their wishes known in regards to all of the above, but always giving guidance for the patient that meets the appropriate standard of medical care.

I earned my M.D. from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1987. My Internal Medicine Internship was completed at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City and my Neurology Residency was completed through Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. I am Board Certified in Neurology. In 2006 I joined Advanced Healthcare, and see patients at the Good Hope Clinic. I have staff privileges at Columbia St. Mary’s (Columbia, Milwaukee and Ozaukee Campuses) and Sacred Heart Rehab Hospital.

I take special interest in headaches, movement disorders and women’s issues in Neurology.

Away from the clinic, I enjoy most outdoor activities, a good book and the company of family and friends.
