As a physician, I help my patients understand available treatment options. My goal is to guide them to a treatment with which they feel comfortable.

In 1981, I earned my medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and later completed my residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. I was a staff surgeon and chief of general surgery for four years at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Fort Sill, Okla., and served as hospital commander for the 47th Field Hospital in Egypt and with the 1st Forward Surgical Team in Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia.

I perform the full scope of general and vascular surgery with a special interest in breast surgery and laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a procedure for removing the gallbladder.
