“I see a physician as a consultant, teacher and friend. I want people to understand the complexities of their conditions while creating a friendly environment so patients can feel comfortable relating their concerns and discussing treatment options.”
I earned my medical degree at Baroda Medical College in Gujarat, India. My internship, residency, and chief residency in internal medicine were completed at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. I then completed my endocrinology and metabolism fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. I am board certified in internal medicine. I am Board Certified in Endocrinology.
My special interests include thyroid disorders and adrenal and pituitary problems. No matter the problem, most important to me is listening to my patients concerns and helping them make informed decisions about their health care. I am also fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy traveling, reading and listening to music.
