I am a firm believer in individualized care. It is so important to know both the patient and the family in order to provide the best care possible.
In 1963, I received my medical degree from Guy's Hospital Medical School in London. I served residencies in internal medicine at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, St. Stephen's Hospital in London and McMaster University Hospitals in Ontario, Canada. In 1967, I completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine. I became a fellow with the American College of Chest Physicians in 1980 and a fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2009.
I am board certified in internal medicine.
Professionally, I have a special interest in travel medicine, geriatrics and dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy traveling and playing golf.
