“I believe in a team approach when it comes to patient care. I want the patient to be a major part of the healing process and use my knowledge as a guide.”
In 1997, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology. In 2001, I earned my master’s degree in physical therapy from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wis.
My special interests include sports rehabilitation, cervical and spine rehabilitation, and neurologic physical therapy. It is important for the patient to become educated regarding their medical condition in order for them to demonstrate control over their pain and promote a healing environment. I have a special interest in manual therapy and use it to enhance the benefits gained from therapeutic exercise. My continued educational goals are to become a certified manual therapist and obtain my doctorate in physical therapy.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy hurling (a traditional Irish sport similar to field hockey), snow and water skiing and snowboarding.
