Good communication and a caring attitude are the keys to developing trust in a doctor-patient relationship. I work together with my patients by describing available treatment options, and then finding ways to make their feet more comfortable.
In 1981, I received my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. I’m licensed to practice podiatric medicine in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska, and am a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Wisconsin Society of Podiatric Medicine. I worked at my own practice, Schlenz Podiatry Associates, from 1981 through 2002. In 2002, I relocated my practice to Advanced Healthcare. In addition, I have staff privileges at Community Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center (Milwaukee), Menomonee Falls Ambulatory Surgery Center and HealthSouth Surgery Center.
Professionally, I am interested in diabetic foot care as well as all other aspects of medical podiatric care, and like to keep current with new treatment options and techniques.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, reading, travel, and photography.
