Educating patients regarding their options is one of the most important aspects of surgery. Patients who ask questions are generally more involved in their health care decisions.
In 1986, I received my M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. I completed my Residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a surgical resident, a portion of my training was in Warwick, England, where I worked for the National Health Service. I am Board Certified in Surgery.
Professionally, I perform the full spectrum of general surgery, with special interests in breast, thyroid and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures.
Away from the clinic I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and playing tennis.
