I believe that helping patients through exams, explaining the reasons for exams and setting goals and limitations for procedures are all important factors when dealing with patient care. Patients need to be well informed and feel comfortable with the treatment they are receiving.
In 1978, I received my M.D. from Northwestern University in Chicago and remained there to complete my residency in Radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In 1983, I completed a fellowship in ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. I am Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
I enjoy keeping abreast of the latest information and research in ultrasound and CT scanning and explaining these procedures to my patients.
