“I have had the privilege to train and work with world leaders in the treatment of cancer at the best cancer centers in the world. I have made it my priority to continue that tradition of excellence bringing a combination of up-to-the-minute treatments delivered with compassion close to home.”
I earned my medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. My internal medicine residency was completed at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Ill. I also completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology through MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. I am board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
My special interests are in the treatment of breast, colon, lung and prostate cancer. I spent additional time training and completing research in breast and prostate cancer while at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, watching movies, bike riding, running and playing tennis.
