I believe in educating my patients about their injuries.

I feel that if patients understand their conditions, they are more involved in the rehabilitation process. I also like to see patients become knowledgeable about their exercise programs. I find that this leads to the achievement of their goals and a more rapid recovery from their injuries. In 1987, I received my B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I became a Certified Hand Therapist in 1993 and continue to take yearly coursework in upper extremity rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist, I have chosen to specialize in the treatment of upper extremity injuries. I perform evaluations, custom splinting and assessment of daily living skills. I also instruct patients in exercises to improve both motion and strength.

Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family. I particularly enjoy gardening and teaching my children new things.
