I believe the most important aspect of health care is patient education. I strive to inform patients of their options and make decisions together for their eye care needs.
In 1990, I received my Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating with highest honors. I served a rotating internship at the Quantico Naval Hospital in Virginia and the West Virginia Veteran’s Administration Hospital. I was also an intern at the Indiana University Contact Lens Research and Visual Training Clinic and the Indianapolis Extension Clinic.
Professionally, I am interested in the full spectrum of eye care, including refractions, regular and specialty contact lenses, treatment of eye infections, pediatric eye care, and screening for glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic problems.
Away from the office, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and cross-country skiing.
