It’s important to listen to my patients and to explain medical information in a way that is easy to understand. I always engage my patients in the decision-making process and I try to be punctual for all appointments.
In 1980, I earned my medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. My surgery internship and general surgery residency were both completed at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis in 1981 and 1985, respectively. I am a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Wisconsin Surgical Society, Milwaukee Academy of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Professionally, I’m very interested in the latest research and developments in treating breast disease. I also provide care for the full-spectrum of surgical diseases.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, reading and playing bridge.
