“I believe the person with diabetes is in charge and my job is to help the person find the best ways to get the best results.”
I have been caring for people with diabetes for more than 25 years, first as an educator and then as an advanced practice nurse. Born and raised in Milwaukee, I received my master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin — Milwaukee. For more than 20 years, I worked in a large endocrine practice on the south side of Milwaukee.
I enjoy helping people navigate the complexities of diabetes management. It is a challenging disease that can be handled successfully and lead to a healthier life and lifestyle.
I stay current with the latest treatments and technologies related to diabetes management, including insulin pumps and continuous blood glucose monitoring.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing trivia with my husband and friends, gardening, traveling and, believe it or not, working out at the gym. I am also an avid reader and novice piano player.
