“Cancer is a difficult disease to treat and I really believe that a team approach needs to be taken to the treatment plan. The patient, doctor, family and support staff all need to work together to get the best results.”
I earned my medical degree from Cornell University Medical School in New York, N.Y. My internal medicine residency was completed at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I also have a fellowship in medical oncology that was completed at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. I am board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
My special interests are in bone marrow aspirate and biopsy as I have performed more than 5,000 of these procedures since starting my practice. If performed correctly, this procedure is not uncomfortable at all. I have a passion for treating all cancers, but am especially interested in lung and breast cancer as I have had family members with these cancers.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I also enjoy gardening, and playing tennis and sports, especially football and baseball.
