
In my practice I see patients with spinal problems that require a spine care pain specialist. Patients with chronic back pain can benefit from the knowledge and skills of a spine care pain specialist. A pain specialist helps an individual regain control of her or his pain and enhance the quality and pleasure of life.
I am a Fellowship Trained Physician in Interventional Pain Medicine from Johns Hopkins University. I completed an Orthopaedic Research Fellowship at the George Truett James Orthopaedic Institute, Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas,Texas. I served as a Clinical Spine Fellow in the Department of Orthopaedics, Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. I completed a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal Disorders at the Johns Hopkins University. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I am an active member of the American Pain Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Medical Association and life long honorary member of the International Musculoskeletal Laser Society. I am widely published and have made numerous presentations nationally and internationally.
I take special interest in interventional management of spine problems as well as thermal collagen modification therapy for degenerative disc disease.
