I earned my medical degree from King Edward Medical College at the University of Punjab in 1985 and remained in Pakistan until 1990. I then completed my residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee. During my residency I was named “resident of the year” in 1990 and chief resident in 1992.
Board certified in cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography, I provide a full range of specialized services and procedures including cardiopulmonary stress testing, angiograms, echocardiograms, cardiolite perfusion stress tests and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). In addition to my patient practice, I serve as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin Medical School Milwaukee Clinical Campus and am a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
I am committed to providing patients with the most complete, technologically advanced heart care. From diagnosis and treatment to case management and follow-up, I emphasize the importance of patient education and preventive health.
