"My goal is to present and explain all the options to my patients so that together we can make the best treatment decisions for their unique needs."
I am a gynecologic oncologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of pre-cancerous and cancerous conditions of the uterus, ovaries, cervix, vagina and vulva. My advanced training, combined with compassion and understanding, allows me to provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care along with support to best meet the individual needs of my patients.
I completed a clinical and research fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center, which resulted in several peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters in the field of gynecologic surgery and cancer treatment. I also have completed two other fellowships, one in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and the other in pelvic surgery at Providence Hospital and Medical Center/Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich.
I earned my medical degree from Tehran University School of Medicine. My obstetrics and gynecology recidency was completed at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers. I am board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a member of several professional organizations.
