“I believe in working together with patients to find a diagnosis and guiding them with accurate and up-to-date information so they can make an informed decision as to the best treatment options available.”
In 2003, I earned my medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. In 2004, I completed my internship through St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. My physical medicine and rehabilitation residency was completed through the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Additionally, in 2008 I completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. I am board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and in pain medicine.
I take special interest in disorders of the spine, including herniated discs/sciatica, painful discs, facet joint arthritis and sacroiliac joint pain. Additionally, I have an interest in peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome and a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal disorders. I specialize in physical treatments, injections and other non-narcotic treatments of pain.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy playing and watching sporting events and spending time with my family.
