I am pleased to provide neurological consultation and managment for developmental and acquired disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerve and muscle. I am accepting new patients between birth and 18 years of age and am happy to follow established patients through 30 years of age.
In 1977, I earned my M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. I completed my Pediatric residency in 1979 at St. Louis Children's Hospital, where I also completed my Child Neurology fellowship in 1982. My residency in Adult Neurology was completed at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis in 1980. I became a faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1982 and served as Division Chief of Child Neurology and Director of Neurology at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin from 1992 to 2000. I have been listed in Best Doctors in America from 1994 through 2001. I am Board Certified in Pediatrics, Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology (Electroencephalography).
Professionally, I take a special interest in seizures, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, developmental disorders, and the effects of cancer on the nervous system.
Outside of work, my interests revolve around my wife and children. I especially enjoy outdoor activities including running, biking and skiing.
