The physician-patient relationship is key to my practice. I work hard to ensure my patients understand and are comfortable with the diagnosis and all treatment options.
In 2001, I earned my M.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 2002 I completed my Internship in Preliminary Medicine through Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. My Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency was completed through the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2005. I am a member of the International Spinal Injection Society and have advanced training in this area. I am also Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
My main focus is in diagnosing and treating back and neck pain, however I maintain interest in many other issues such as arthritis, muscular and nerve pain, and special procedures such as EMG, botulinium toxin and spine and joint minimally invasive procedures. I am also fluent in Spanish.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy music, art, fitness and spending time with my family.
