I believe in nutrition intervention. I assist my patients by providing the correct knowledge they need to make the best choices for their diet, health and well-being.

I received my B.S. in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Later, I attended the University of California - San Francisco for advanced clinical training in child and adolescent obesity. A member of the American Dietetic Association and the American Association of Diabetic Educators, I have been a clinical dietitian with Advanced Healthcare since 1985 and a certified diabetes educator since 1992.

I provide counseling in all areas of nutrition, but specialize in diabetes education. I am currently involved in clinical drug research for diabetes.

When I'm not at the clinic, my family and I enjoy hiking, backpacking and canoeing.
