I strongly believe good communication, compassionate care, patient education and preventive medicine are key factors in establishing a good patient-physician relationship. I also believe in keeping my patients fully informed of every aspect of their healthcare.
In 1986, I earned my medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in the British West Indies. I then completed a residency in Family Medicine through the Medical College of Wisconsin - St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. My second residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed through St. Joseph Hospital - an Affiliation of Northwestern Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. I have been in private practice in the Milwaukee area since 1993.
I am board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
I take special interest in minimal invasive laparoscopic/robotic surgery and general obstetrics. It is important for patients to know all of their options if they need gynecological surgery. Together we discuss the treatment plan and when appropriate, I recommend a minimally invasive surgery that reduces recovery time and promotes faster healing. Since 2007, I have performed robotic gynecological surgeries for hysterectomy, myomectomy or complex, gynecologic surgeries. I am also fluent in Hindi.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, golfing, gardening and landscaping.
