My patients and I thoroughly discuss all the options and decide the treatment that is best for them. Our goal is to review both conservative and surgical options and to select the one that achieves the best possible quality of life for them.
I earned my medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City. My internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery were completed at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. I have additional training and expertise in foot and ankle surgery through my fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in
St. Louis, Mo.
My practice centers on the evaluation and treatment of all adult and adolescent foot and ankle disorders. Some of my areas of special interest are treatment of trauma and trauma-related deformities, sports injuries, arthritic conditions, flatfoot, bunions and neuromuscular disorders.
Specific procedures I provide include arthroscopy of the foot and ankle, external fixation, periarticular osteotomies, fusions and ankle replacement.
Outside of work, I enjoy various athletic activities, reading and spending time with family.
