I urge my patients to become involved in their health care, while taking time to explain treatment options. An informed patient is a better advocate for his or her own health care.

I received my M.D. from Upstate Medical Center in New York. I completed my residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia where I served a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. I am Board Certified in Critical Care and Internal Medicine.

In addition to treating critical care patients, I have special interest in adult cardiac, pulmonary, hypertensive, and gastrointestinal disease.
