"My philosophy of practice is simple –the patient comes first. While providing physical and emotional support, and education about the diagnosis and treatment options, I hope to direct the patient to the best possible treatment plan and outcome."
I earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. My residency in internal medicine and fellowship in medical oncology were completed at the Medical College of Wisconsin affiliated hospitals. I am board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
I have a special interest in quality improvement and patient safety, especially working toward improved coordination of care for cancer patients. Cancer treatment has developed into a team effort. I believe that my role as a medical oncologist is to provide overall guidance to the patient and the team, and to ensure that good communication occurs at all levels.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy hiking, reading, classical music and photography.
