A native of Romania, I earned my medical degree from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest and served my residency at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester in New York. I graduated at the 90th percentile of my class and was honored during my residency with the Charles Forman Award for the Most Dedicated Resident in 2001, and the Francis O’Neil Memorial Award for Outstanding Resident of the Year in 2002. I am board certified in internal medicine.
An internal medicine specialist, I provide comprehensive medical care for adults. I am trained to provide a wide range of services, and I hope my patients feel comfortable calling me for nearly all of their health care needs. Additionally, I am fluent in Romanian and some medical Spanish.
In my free time, I enjoy literature, painting, hiking, music and philosophy. My husband, also a physician, and I are pleased to establish our home and practices in Washington County.
