The primary focus of my practice is arthritis surgery, with the expressed goal of relief of pain, restoration of mobility and the highest level of quality of life possible for my patients.
In 1985, I received my M.D. from the University of Wisconsin. My residency in Orthopaedic Surgery was served at Akron City Hospital of Ohio. I completed a fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction/Arthroplasty at the University of Arizona-Arthritis Center of Tucson in 1991. I'm Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and was recertified in 2003.
Professionally, I'm involved on both a regional and national level in programs for continuing education for orthopaedic surgeons on advanced techniques and improving outcomes in joint replacement surgery.
