My challenge is providing education, motivation and creative activities to assist patients in returning to function following upper-extremity injuries.
At the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, I earned my bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy in 1986 as well as my master’s degree in industrial engineering and ergonomics in 2005. In 1988, I was employed as a rehabilitation product designer and technical consultant. In 1996, I returned to clinical health care in the area of hand therapy.
My special interests are upper-extremity rehabilitation, splinting and ergonomics to prevent injuries.
Away from the office, I enjoy oil painting, skiing and golfing.
