I received my medical training at Marquette University in Milwaukee. While earning my Master in Physician Assistant Studies, I completed internships in several health care settings including emergency medicine at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee.
As a physician assistant, I serve as an extension of the doctors I work with by diagnosing and treating patients, as well as ordering lab tests and writing prescriptions.
I particularly enjoy my role as a patient educator in my practice with Dr. Terry Williamson in family practice and Dr. Daniel Kopesky in obstetrics/gynecology. Every patient visit with me includes time spent talking about ways patients and families can improve the state of their own health.
A native of Crookston, Minn., I reside in Washington County with my husband and two children. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, bicycling, reading and family activities.
