Practicing medicine is about empowering people to help them lead better, more productive lives. My strengths lie in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, but more importantly in communicating with patients in a way that is meaningful and understandable. Providing care for patients can be very demanding, but is ultimately very rewarding.
In 1990, I earned my M.D. from the University of Illinois in Rockford. I then completed my Residency in Internal Medicine through Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
I take special interest in diabetes, hyperlipidemia and hypertension.
My interests outside of medicine include spending time with my family, traveling, SCUBA diving and downhill skiing.
